Meet the owner and founder of Connected Play and Counselling – finally!!

Yep, it’s taken me this long to introduce myself formally. (Such poor manners

)
Turns out I’m great at show casing my staff, not so good at show casing myself.
But here I am, being brave and vulnerable at the same time, and showing up to say hi, here I am, this is me

Now, we know a bio is all well & good, but here’s some fun facts it won’t tell you…

I’m a big fan of coffee, and it needs to be strong

I’m slightly obsessed about finding the perfect caramel slice, and yes, I have a rating system

I live in a national park

I have a kelpie X border collie who’s really the boss of the family

I set up the clinic because the most amazing therapists asked me if they could work with me (talk about flattering!), and I wanted to work with them too – supporting other therapists is one of my highest values.

I started a women’s cricket team at my local club after 109 years of men’s only teams. Not because I’m good at cricket, but because I wanted equal opportunities for the women and girls in my community

I have two girls and two boys

I’m a proud indoor plant owner. Sometimes, they even survive.

I regularly laugh at my own jokes & think I’m hilarious

I’m ridiculously passionate about this work and helping children and their families… but that one’s probably not a surprise

So hi! It’s nice to finally meet you
